Cut out the bad thoughts. Damn hard, I know. Actually, in some of my days… bad thoughts are the only thoughts I have, but you know what? I just try to forget and keep my mind empty. That’s funny… especially when there’s something important being said around or you’re talking to somebody and then I am like: “Whuut?!” But it’s way more simple to cut them out. Concentrate on smiling, it will become a habbit. ^_^

Find a good movie suitable for your mood. No, I’m not saying that if you are sad you should find a romance so you could burst into tears I am saying that if you’re sad you could find a horror movie to be distracted [- i usually laugh at horrors, unless it’s a really crazy one, then i am like doooomed] or a comedy or a musical. Yeah, damn sure. These always cheer me up. [Suggestions: Center stage: turn it up, Pitch Perfect, 16 love, We are the millers, Bride wars, we are what we are, standing up]
Or, if you’re good at something that totally gives you a ticket to your own world, *no other people allowed*, like dancing, paiting, cooking or who knows what, then you should go for that too! Or anything that you’d like. It’s that simple!
