What does it take to make a citizen out of me? ♥

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
― Dr. Seuss

Everybody wants to live but nobody asks what’s the point. People just seem to be so narrow-minded no matter how open-minded at some point you’d think they are. Human nature. . . is it human at all? When everybody seems to go by what you don’t kill, kills you, so people just tend to destroy everything so that they won’t be destroyed . . . eventually.
“What you must understand about me is that I’m a deeply unhappy person.”
― John Green, Looking for Alaska
And this is the naked truth in fact. Happiness is not money. What is it then? It’s not love, because that always ends. . .and if doesn’t life screws it anyway when the loved one passes away, leaving you heart-broken . . . eventually. Happiness is just a word. . . that sometimes transforms into an ephemeral bliss that passes by leaving you with a mixture of feeling uneasy and worried, tante. . . as chinese folks would say.
“We all live in a house on fire, no fire department to call; no way out, just the upstairs window to look out of while the fire burns the house down with us trapped, locked in it.”
― Tennessee Williams, The Milk Train Doesn’t Stop Here Anymore
We are trapped in a never ending routine. We wake up. Never wonder why. Never wonder if it’s real or if we are dreaming. We say: <> so we know we are awake. But is pain real? What if it’s the importance of our minds that gives life fuel? That makes pain feel real and bliss abstract? It’s not the words or actions or moments or memories of others, it’s the importance your mind gives, the thoughts you have, the perspective you see things through so that people can see through you.
“Yeah, as long as we know we’re trapped, we still have a chance to escape.”
― Sara Grant, Neva
We find ourselves craving people, moments, foods, emotions. But what is the point of everything? Why are we here? Why are some bad and good? Why is the ugly always evil and the beauty always good? Why is there even ugly or bad? Why are there nicknames like those . . . Why do we bite our nails? Why some don’t? Why do we sleep? Why do we take pills without going to the doctor’s? Why don’t we? Why do we learn to write when we don’t put our feelings out there? Why do we stare at people with desecration? Why do we feel compelled to yell mischievous things at people we may know or may not?
“I don’t know what I am thinking. But I am alone. I am trapped in the net of the room. In the net of humans. I think maybe I am drowning in the net of humans.”
― Karen Hesse, The Music of Dolphins
What does it take to make a citizen out of me? of you? To bring humanity back, to smile deep inside, not only in the outside, to be happy, if that isn’t just a word. . .? Why do grades matter more than true knowledge? Why are old people considered weaker? Why do butterflies fly? Why is everything like it is right now? And why in the end everything ends with death? Or why is death considered the end, when maybe life was the end while death was brining something new, like Buddhists say about reincarnation?
“When deep inside you feel frustrated and depressed, scream the silence, scream it so loud that you never hear it again.”
― Tushar Chauhan
